The movie’s premise is interesting. A man is charged with delivering a new Jaguar F-TYPE to a rich client in the desert. Of course, when he goes to deliver the goods, our hero runs into a beautiful woman and a whole lot of trouble! Along for the ride are Ridley Scott and Damian Lewis. We here at New Jaguar Cars Near Boston think this has all the makings for one heck of a commercial.
You know, people counterfeit a lot of crazy things these days. Money, we understand, who wouldn’t like an infinite supply? Purses, sure, people want the designer look but they don’t want to pay the designer price. Heck, we even understand why someone would counterfeit sunglasses! But there are some things that we just can’t wrap our heads around. Let us here at Woburn Jaguar, your home for the 2012 Jaguar XF, tell you more.
Apparently in China, people are making counterfeit walnuts. They’re taking the real shells of already eating walnuts and filling them with a concrete like material that both holds the shells together and gives them the proper weight. This is being done on a massive scale according to some, with giant factories harvesting the nut meat and then resealing the nuts for resale, essentially having their cake and eating it too. We here at MA Jaguar have to admire there tenacity, but we’d be pretty upset if we bought fake nuts!
The fake nut craze is getting so intense, that people are actually posting flyers and videos about how to spot and correctly identify fake walnuts. Apparently, fake walnuts are drying feeling and don’t make the proper sound when squeezed. We here at Woburn Jaguar can’t imagine living in a world where you can’t even trust a nut to be real, but there it is!
Who do you think is the sexiest actress in Hollywood? Most people (men and women) have their opinion, but people don’t seem to spend as much energy on figuring out who they think is the LEAST attractive. Luckily, someone thought it was worth taking a survey on the question. Let us here at Woburn Jaguar, your home for New Jaguar Cars Near Boston, give you the surprising results.
The poll was conducted by MenKind, who apparently specialize in this kind of asinine survey. We here at Jaguar Massachusetts are interested in the results though, but only because the list ISN’T based on physical beauty. Instead, the list takes into account things like perceived personality, health, relationships, and other non-aesthetic factors. It’s still a fairly shallow endeavor, but it’s interesting to see the public perception on Hollywood! Here’s the list:

Some of these we understand (looking at you Lohan) but since when are we hating on Lucy Liu? Sure, Kristen Stewart is going to get panned because of Twilight, and Sarah Jessica Parker for Sex and the City, but we still have a soft spot for Uma from Pulp Fiction!
Do you like your Bourbon? There’s something refined about standing at the bar with a nice glass while everyone around you swills cheap beer. You just look like a gentleman with class. This is probably why everyone was so upset with Makers Mark this past week. Let us here at Woburn Jaguar, the MA Jaguar headquarters, tell you what happened.
Recently, Maker’s Mark announced they couldn’t keep up with demand, and would be forced to water down their fine bourbon. All in all, the dilution would result in about a 3% loss in alcohol content. Shocker: people were not happy about this news. We here at your home for the 2012 Jaguar XF are surprised Maker’s Mark didn’t see that one coming.
People launched a giant social media campaign, begging the Bourbon maker not to ruin their fine spirits by adding more water. Finally, after a week of campaigning, the company relented. As of this week, Marker’s Mark will officially stay at the previous alcohol content.
“We’ve been more than humbled by the overwhelming response,” said Maker’s Mark Chief Operating Officer Rob Samuels in an interview. ”They’ve told us that they would rather deal with the occasional supply shortage than have us change their whiskey.”
As any drinker of quality liquors knows, adding even a tiny bit more water can completely change the flavor profile of a drink. We aren’t going to say Maker’s Mark is the nicest Bourbon around, but we agree it would have been a shame for them to dilute it!
